| "Where Or When - The Definitive
Sinatra Database" is an authorative,
complete database on CD-ROM, which covers the
entire singing and recording career of Frank
Sinatra. First issued in 2002, it has now been
esthblished as the most complete Sinatra Database
available You will be able to search for and find every song which Frank Sinatra performed during his singing career, including studio recordings, concerts, guest appearances, radio and TV shows and film songs. Lyrics to most songs have been added, including special parody versions. This section is called the Chronology and it truly is the embodiment of the Frank Sinatra Legacy. |
You will also be able to search and
find virtually all issued recordings, worldwide, on 78 or
45 rpm singles and EP's, LP's and CD's, which contain
tracks by Frank Sinatra.
Listing is both by date and title of song or album and in
the discography section , songs can be searched by using
and combining criteria such as conductor, or author, or
record label name or record category, or even matrix
number. Each song is listed with full details, even
alternate takes are in most cases defined.
This section is called the Discography.

The combination of the two sections (Chronology and

The database on this CD-ROM is the result of more than 40
years of avid collecting and in-depth research by three
internationally known Sinatra experts:
Giuseppe Marcucci of Florence, Italy, one of the foremost
chronologists of Sinatra's career; Dick Schwarz of
Amsterdam, Holland and Ed Vanhellemont of Antwerp,
Belgium, both respected collectors and co-founders of the
International Sinatra Society of Holland and the Sinatra
Society of Belgium, respectively.
The database has been created for collectors and scholars
alike, to document the incredible legacy of Frank
Sinatra's singing career of more than six decades.
